October is coming to an end, but there are still several new slot releases on the calendar. NetEnt, Relax Gaming and Pragmatic Play all have games arriving on 29 October, while another Pragmatic Play title is scheduled for the beginning of November.
This week’s selection includes Nunchucks, Sweet Loot, Nuclear Tumble and Killer Night. Here’s a closer look at what each game has to offer ahead of its release.
Nunchucks – NetEnt
NetEnt takes an unusual approach with Nunchucks, a cartoon-style slot where a group of martial arts-trained nuns defend their church against a criminal named Sinpin. The game features a 6×4 grid with 4,096 ways to win, with much of the gameplay built around four different Nun Features.
Each nun brings something different to the reels. Colossal Nun creates large mystery symbols, Wild Reel Nun turns entire reels wild, and Multiplier Nun adds multipliers to winning combinations. The fourth, Upgrade Nun, improves features already in play by expanding mystery symbols, doubling multipliers or adding more wild reels.
Nunchucks also includes respins and two free spins modes. Landing three to six scatters awards between 8 and 14 free spins, while landing a Super Scatter activates Super Free Spins instead. The main difference is that activated Nun Features remain in place throughout Super Free Spins, allowing additional wild reels, mystery symbols and multipliers to build up as the round progresses.
With a maximum potential win of 12,000x the stake, Nunchucks combines its unusual cartoon setting with several features that can work together during the same round.
Sweet Loot – Pragmatic Play
Pragmatic Play combines pirates and candy in Sweet Loot, a colourful slot featuring a pirate captain surrounded by sweets, treasure and familiar pirate symbols. The game uses a 6×5 grid with an additional four-symbol row above the reels, where multipliers play an important role.
Winning combinations are formed by landing eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid. These symbols disappear after a win, allowing new ones to fall into place. The main feature involves Multiplier Symbols, which appear on the top row with values ranging from 2x to 500x. When a multiplier symbol contributes to a winning combination, its value is applied to the payout, with multiple multipliers added together.
Sweet Loot includes two bonus rounds. Landing four, five or six scatters awards 10, 20 or 30 free spins, while triggering the bonus with at least one Super Scatter activates Super Free Spins. During regular free spins, at least one symbol on the top row carries a multiplier on every spin. In Super Free Spins, all four positions receive multipliers of at least 10x.
With a maximum potential win of 10,000x the stake, Sweet Loot builds on Pragmatic Play’s familiar tumble mechanics by introducing a separate row dedicated to multiplier symbols.

Nuclear Tumble – Relax Gaming
Relax Gaming takes its Tumble series into a radioactive wasteland with Nuclear Tumble, a slot featuring abandoned buildings, oversized fruit and vegetables, and a muscular bear. The game uses a 6×6 grid with 46,656 ways to win, where winning combinations destroy nearby stone blocks and allow new symbols to fall into place.
The main objective is to bring Cash Symbols down to the bottom row, where their values are collected. Stone blocks can reveal additional cash prizes, bombs or scatters when destroyed. Clearing every stone block can also activate Meltdown Mode, which removes the remaining regular symbols and starts another tumble with an increased chance of higher cash values.
Nuclear Tumble includes three bonus modes: Free Spins, Super Free Spins and Ultra Free Spins. Collecting three scatters triggers the bonus, while special scatter symbols can unlock the higher modes. During free spins, collecting four Cash Symbols increases the feature’s progression level, awards an extra spin and raises the potential value of future cash prizes. At the highest levels, individual Cash Symbols can be worth up to 2,500x the stake.
With a maximum potential win of 5,000x the stake, Nuclear Tumble focuses on clearing obstacles, collecting cash prizes and progressing through increasingly valuable bonus levels.
Killer Night – Pragmatic Play
Pragmatic Play takes inspiration from 1980s slasher films with Killer Night, a horror-themed slot set during a high school prom at Ridgeview High School. What begins as a school dance turns into a nightmare when a masked killer appears. The game features a 5×5 grid with 15 paylines, with expanding wild symbols at the centre of its gameplay.
The main feature is Expanding Wilds, which can appear on any reel and expand upwards or downwards to cover additional positions. These wilds can also carry multipliers ranging from 2x to 10x. When multiple multiplier wilds contribute to the same winning combination, their values are multiplied together rather than added.
Killer Night includes two bonus rounds. Landing three, four or five scatters awards 10, 15 or 20 free spins. During Free Spins, wild symbols become sticky and remain on the reels, while newly landed wilds can merge with existing ones and combine their multipliers. Triggering Super Free Spins guarantees at least three wild symbols on the first spin, giving players an opportunity to build up additional wilds throughout the bonus.
With a maximum potential win of 10,000x the stake, Killer Night combines classic slasher-film visuals with expanding wilds, sticky symbols and multipliers that can grow during the bonus rounds.
Final Thoughts
This week’s releases offer four very different themes, from martial arts-trained nuns in Nunchucks to the radioactive world of Nuclear Tumble. Sweet Loot introduces a new approach to multipliers in Pragmatic Play’s familiar candy setting, while Killer Night brings expanding and sticky wilds to an 1980s-inspired horror story.
Nunchucks, Sweet Loot and Nuclear Tumble are scheduled for release on 29 October, with Killer Night following on 2 November.
